Prayers | St Luke's Lutheran Church

Prayers

St. Luke's is an active praying community.
Prayer requests for members of the congregation, friends of member, people in the community, or world events are included on the prayer list.

Prayers for healing, comfort, strength, thanksgiving, or praise to God are all welcome.

To submit a prayer request or to subscribe to the prayer chain, fill out our online contact form.

If you would like to pray with someone, please call the church office and ask for Pastor Mike.

If you're wondering how to pray, you may pray as Jesus taught us:
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen."

You might also consider this helpful and healthy model:
1) offer praise to God
2) ask for God's mercy
3) give thanks for all God has given
4) to pray for your needs and the needs of others
