Service

Serving our Neighbors

Jesus came, “not to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45), and following his example, the Church seeks to remember the poor (Galatians 2:10), serving in Jesus’ name.

God has entrusted us with time and resources, blessing us so that we might be a blessing to others. We reach out in Christ’s name, seeking to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need. This is one of the ways we live out our belief that God loves all people.

We are blessed by God with so many opportunities to care for one another and to live lives of faithful service in Jesus’ name.

St. Luke’s partners with many community organizations where we connect directly with those who are in need of food, shelter, or simply a listening ear. We also support these organizations financially through special offerings.

Take a look and see where God might be calling you to love and serve your neighbor with the love of Christ.
