Worship Services

Worship with Holy Communion – every Sunday, 10:15 am

Jesus and the cross are central to our services of worship. Welcoming everyone to participate, we celebrate the joy, hope, and peace won through the death and resurrection of our Lord. Each week, God’s Word comes alive through the reading of Scriptures, the preaching of the Word, the singing of traditional and non-traditional songs, and the gathering of the faithful.

Our organist and choir regularly provide special music that enhances the worship. A children’s sermon is offered most Sundays; and the second Sunday of each month a “noisy offering” (loose change) is taken up to support our many outreach ministries. Our Gathering area offers time for fellowship, conversation, and refreshments prior to and following the service.

Special Service each year include:

Blue Christmas (Wednesday before Christmas Day), Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Wednesday night services during Lent, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and Blessing of the Animals (October). Look for these services on our Upcoming Events page.

Each Sunday, the Lord is with us. Come, and celebrate with us the love of God, the hope given in Jesus Christ, and the joy and peace of the Holy Spirit.

Sunday services are available via live stream, and on YouTube

Holy Communion to Homebound

St. Luke’s has an active program of Eucharistic Ministers. These folks volunteer to take the gift of Jesus’ body and blood to those who cannot be present at the Sunday service because of illness or age. Consecrated by the Pastor as part of the service, the bread and wine are taken to the homebound, those in care facilities and other locations in order to bring them the healing and transforming power of the Sacrament.
