Music

St. Luke’s is blessed with an abundance of musical talent.

Whether instrumental music or choral anthems, the souls of all are lifted to the glory of God each Sunday.

St. Luke’s Organist and Music Director

St. Luke’s is blessed with a large pipe organ and a talented organist. Sandy Miller has played and led worship for many years. Her talents extend to the piano. Her special music, accompaniment of the choir, and playing for hymns and songs enhances our Sunday worship.

St. Luke’s Choir

The choir, under the direction of its director Brian, sings in worship on most Sundays, September through May. Their music is based on the Word of God and often supports the reading and preaching that Sunday. Additionally, the choir supports the congregational singing of hymns and songs, They also lead the singing of the Psalms on many Sundays.

For those wishing to share their vocal talent with us, choir practice is at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning; and you are always welcome and invited to join in the singing.

Special Music

Solo and in ensemble, singers and instrumentalists offer their gifts in worship regularly – though most often in the summer months. From violin and flute to woodwinds and brass, the variety is outstanding.

Sharing Your Musical Talent

If you have the gift of music, either vocal or instrumental, wish to give glory to God, and are interested in sharing that gift with us at St. Luke’s, our organist and music director would be happy to speak to you about including you in our worship. You may contact them through the church office.
